Meet Stephanie.
Stephanie Leigh Gutierrez is a life and leadership coach, podcast host, marriage speaker, spiritual director, and former Christian missionary and pastor. She is the missionary care manager at Modern Day Missions and hosts the Modern Day Missionaries podcast. Stephanie is also the co-executive director of Footrock, a nonprofit organization that hosts retreats for Christian missionaries and Spanish-speaking pastors.
Hi, it’s great to meet you! Relationships are a big deal to me, especially those I have with Jesus, my family, and my friends. One of my great passions is helping others grow in their relationships––whether it be with Jesus, their spouse, family, friends, employees, co-workers, or themselves.
My husband, Danny, and I have been married for 25 years and have two young adult daughters, one with profound special needs. We have served as pastors for the majority of those years at churches in Minnesota and in Peru, as missionaries. We regularly work with pastors throughout Latin America through our nonprofit, Footrock, hosting retreats and providing coaching and support. We are also bilingual marriage speakers for Chick-fil-A’s Winshape Foundation. I speak Spanish as a second language.
I am a CPLC Coach and a YEC Certified Enneagram Coach with an ACC accreditation through the International Coaching Federation. For a decade, I served as a pastor on staff at Camino de Vida church in Lima, Peru. I am the missionary care manager for Modern Day Missions, where we resource more than 1,100 missionaries. I hold a B.A. in Communication and an M.A. in Human Services Counseling.
